About Buca di Beppo

  • Buca di Beppo is an Italian-American resturantant chain.
  • The first Buca di Beppo opened in 1993 in Minneapolis Minnesota.
  • Their menu consists of appetizers, salads, pasta, pizzas, entrees, desserts, beer, and fine wine.
  • Their dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by the entire table. 
  • The full Buca menu is available To-Go and many locations offer Curb Service.
  • The parent company is Buca Inc. which is owned by Planet Hollywood.
  • All restaurants have a Pope table where a small statue of the Pope is the centerpiece.
  • There is also a chef’s table that seats 6 to 10 people. The chef’s table provides direct interaction with Buca’s chefs.
  • Most locations offer lunch.

My greatest weakness is I take criticism too personally. I have learned not to overreact and think about what was said. I have found that I have become a better employee when I learn from feedback.

6. How would you define excellent customer service?

  • The customer is not waiting long for their order.
  • Customers receive friendly service.
  • The restaurant is clean both inside and outside.
  • The product is made to order.

7. How would you deal with a difficult customer?

  • Listen and let the customer vent.
  • Show the customer you care.
  • Don’t blame the customer or the company.
  • Try to solve the problem or find someone who can.
  • Don’t make promises you can’t keep.

8. What are your salary expectations?

  • This is a stressful question because if you ask for too much, you will not get the job and if you ask for too little, they will gladly underpay you.
